Mavic Pro DIY portable charging solution – 4A vs 8A charging Analysis

As a solution to charge MavicPro batteries away from home or the car, I messed around with a cheap power regulator and a DIY battery based upon 18650s in a previous build explained here.

This battery bank has quite a high discharge rate and therefore can charge the MavicPro battery at it’s maximum rate of 8amps. As seen below within the charge profile analysis the BMS (battery management) incorporhttp://ifraggle.com/2017/06/26/diy-battery-bank-for-htc-vive-tpcast-wireless-vr/ated inside

theĀ Mavic battery controls the amps differently for each input. It’s also interesting to see a large portion of the charge time, maybe %40 is only for the last 10% of the battery.

Here is the video explaining the components I used and how I went about the testing.

Update : Added the graphs for charging at 6amps in the lower sheet.
