Watch time Lapse test on a Nikon D800e
One of the main reasons to upgrade from my trusty Nikon D200 to the Tier higher D800, was for the included possibility of 1920×1080 Video recording.
Being able to record video with the SLR lenses looks like it could be a lot of fun.
The D800 comes with some auto functions, i.e. HDR (High Dynamic Range) and another is the Time Lapse function. Previous to do time lapse you would need to take a lot of pictures at set intervals and then use some post processing technology to merge them all together to make a video.
With the D800 you simply set the interval and the duration of the resulting video and set it off.
First try is my IWC Watch.
